The Opportunity
Run the recruitment engine. Hire A-players. Be the reason our team wins.
Youโll be part of a small internal recruitment team (3โ4 people) working across our group of growing industrial businesses. Youโll work directly with the founder and exec team on high-value hires โ from frontline to leadership โ and run the whole thing: ads, outreach, interviews, assessments, and offers. Itโs high-trust, fast-paced, and process-driven. Youโll be respected as a key team member, not treated as HR admin.
๐ผ Flexible โ office-based or hybrid if youโre in Brisbane or Perth (or fully remote elsewhere in Australia).
๐ Real variety โ recruit across engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, exec, and more.

The Role
This is a hands-on recruitment role with real scope. Your mission: run a high-quality, high-trust recruitment engine that consistently brings in A-players.
You'll be responsible for:
๐ข Job ads โ post job ads and set up campaigns (Seek, LinkedIn, etc).
๐งฒ Sourcing โ find candidates and send tailored outreach (Linkedin Recruiter, Zoominfo, etc).
๐ Screening โ review applications, schedule interviews, run phone screens.
๐ Assess โ coordinate assessments (Predictive Index, OMG) and track results.
๐ต๏ธ Evaluate โ interviews, ref checks, case studies - run these for frontline roles and coordinate for others.
โ๏ธ System โ stay organised, keep everything clean and updated in our ATS (Lever).
๐ค Collaborate โ work with hiring managers to make good, data-driven decisions.
๐ช Hire โ become the candidate's trusted guide, influence their decision-making, hire A-players.
๐๏ธ Experience โ create a concierge experience for our target A-players through the process.
Youโll be working directly with the founder Josh Beaver and other senior leaders.

Who You Are
Youโre sharp, structured, and thrive on pace. Youโre not afraid of hard work, you like running a tight ship, and you donโt need a babysitter.
This role will suit someone who:

Has 5+ yearsโ recruiting experience (including some internal).

Has full Australian work rights (sorry โ no visa sponsorship for this role).

Likes working with execs, hiring managers, and running things end-to-end

Doesnโt get emotionally attached to candidates โ cares more about doing it right.

Values high standards, clear process, and structured systems.
โ
Stays calm under pressure, juggles multiple roles, and doesnโt drop the ball.
You've probably worked in agency, but went internal to get away from the nonsense and focus on doing high-quality work. You want a role in a recruitment team thatโs professional, high-trust, and actually well run.
