The Opportunity

Run the recruitment engine. Hire A-players. Be the reason our team wins.

You’ll be part of a small internal recruitment team (3–4 people) working across our group of growing industrial businesses. You’ll work directly with the founder and exec team on high-value hires – from frontline to leadership – and run the whole thing: ads, outreach, interviews, assessments, and offers. It’s high-trust, fast-paced, and process-driven. You’ll be respected as a key team member, not treated as HR admin.

💼 Full-time permanent role – office-based in Embleton, Monday to Friday.
🔁 Real variety – recruit across engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, exec, and more.
👥 Exec access – work directly with founder and senior leaders.

The Role

This is a hands-on recruitment role with real scope. Your mission: run a high-quality, high-trust recruitment engine that consistently brings in A-players.

You'll be responsible for:

📢 Job ads – post job ads and set up campaigns (Seek, LinkedIn, etc).
🧲 Sourcing – find candidates and send tailored outreach (LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, etc).
🔎 Screening – review applications, schedule interviews, run phone screens.
📊 Assess – coordinate assessments (Predictive Index, OMG) and track results.
🕵️ Evaluate – interviews, ref checks, case studies - run these for frontline roles and coordinate for others.
⚙️ System – stay organised, keep everything clean and updated in our ATS (Lever).
🤝 Collaborate – work with hiring managers to make good, data-driven decisions.
🪄 Hire – become the candidate's trusted guide, influence their decision-making, hire A-players.
🛎️ Experience – create a concierge experience for our target A-players through the process.

You’ll be working directly with the founder Josh Beaver and other senior leaders.

Who You Are

You’re sharp, structured, and thrive on pace. You’re not afraid of hard work, you like running a tight ship, and you don’t need a babysitter.

This role will suit someone who:

✅ Has 10+ years’ recruiting experience (including some internal).
✅ Lives within 20mins of Embleton and wants a great local role.
✅ Likes working with execs, hiring managers, and running things end-to-end
✅ Doesn’t get emotionally attached to candidates – cares more about doing it right.
✅ Values high standards, clear process, and structured systems.
✅ Stays calm under pressure, juggles multiple roles, and doesn’t drop the ball.
