The Operations Manager at Evolution Shotcrete is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, planning, and oversight of all operational functions across shotcreting and steel fixing activities. This role ensures that jobs are correctly resourced, scheduled, and executed in line with project requirements, safety standards, and company KPIs.
Working closely with the Directors and Leading Hand Operators, the Operations Manager plays a critical role in workforce planning, material procurement, job bookings, equipment maintenance, and ensuring overall workflow efficiency. The role requires a hands-on and solutions-focused leader with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing people, priorities, and performance.
Ensure the timely planning, booking, and execution of daily operations across steel fixing and shotcreting projects.
Maintain efficient workforce deployment by aligning team skills with job requirements.
Monitor and manage material orders, equipment availability, and vehicle maintenance to support job readiness.
Uphold safety, compliance, and quality control procedures in line with company standards.
Facilitate effective communication between clients, site teams, and suppliers to ensure seamless job execution.
Support continuous improvement in operational performance through forward planning and issue resolution.
