We are currently offering 2x Utility Locating Technician roles:

Experienced Utility Locator or Team Leader Utility Locator

What we are looking for:

Utility Locator Role, A Professional, high-level operator currently in, or aiming toward a leadership role. The suitable candidate will be confident and willing to deliver underground utility locating projects to a high standard. Working alone and with small teams on a range of projects small to large. Working effectively with the operations team to ensure projects are delivered smoothly.

OR go for the Leadership Role, A Professional, high-level operator currently in, or aiming toward a leadership role. Working directly with the Operations Manager, you will be able and willing to collaborate with the field team effectively, sharing positive and innovative ideas to continually assist in developing and improving the team. After adapting to the role, company processes and procedures, the ideal candidate will have the desire to assist in developing junior technicians' skills, utilising an effective, detailed competency verification training program. The role will provide you the opportunity to assist with the quality of deliverables checks, project quoting, participate and contribute to field technician meetings and company toolbox meetings.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

Minimum 2 Years in a Utility Locaitng role.

Large Government projects completion

Internal/ Private property projects completion

Concrete GPR scanning experience

Basic Survey Pick GPS / Total Station Experience

AutoDesk Civil 3d Data Processing Experience

Qualifications Desirable:

Cert Loc accreditation

ATCO critical asset certification

APA Gas supervision accreditations

Valid WA Drivers Licence

Certificate IV Training Assessing

Certificate IV in Leadership and Management

What we will provide

Rates: $40.00-$53.00/ hour

All modern tooling required and electronic locating equipment (GPR and EMF Locator)

Opportunity for further accredited and in-house training i.e. Survey, Concrete GPR, Leadership Training etc.

Trainee Utility Locator

What we are looking for:

Technically minded independent person that loves problem solving, enjoys variety, freedom and flexibility looking for the next step toward a rewarding and challenging career with plenty of opportunity for growth.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

Experienced Civil Construction Surveyors or offsiders

Experienced Civil Construction Underground Utility installers such as HDD operators, cable/pipe layers

Other related Civil Works operators around "city based" underground utilities

Qualifications Desirable:

Certificate III Civil Construction

RIICCM202E Identify, Locate and Protect Underground Services

Cable/Pipe Laying Certifications

Valid WA Drivers Licence

What we will provide

Rates: $34.00-$44.00/ hour
