Job Opportunity: Technicians

Location: Midvale, WA & Various Mine Sites

Work Type: Full Time - Roster work would be 2:1

Our team of specialists is seeking to add a skilled Technicians to our team. This role will involve work at our Midvale workshop, as well as regular shutdown work across various mine sites in Western Australia. Experience with Fixed Plant Maintenance, Grinding Mills, and Crushers will be highly regarded. Additionally responsible for rigger duties including assembling, aligning, securing, and moving heavy equipment and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repair tasks on fixed plant equipment, including Grinding Mills and Crushers.

Collaborate closely with the team and report to Site Supervisors and Workshop Manager.

Ensure high-quality work and maintain excellent communication with customers.

Select and set up rigging equipment such as cables, pulleys, winches, and hooks to move and secure heavy loads.

Quick to grasp new concepts, adaptable, and flexible.

Capable of working in diverse environments, from metropolitan areas to remote outback sites.

Follows directions accurately and efficiently.

A team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Able to handle high-pressure situations, prioritise tasks effectively, and work efficiently under urgency.

Requirements:

Dogging Certificate

Relevant certificate 3 or 4

1 year experience in similar role

Construction OHS Card - white card

Valid Driver’s License

HRWL – EWP

Working at Heights Certification (within the last 2 years)

Confined Space Certification (within the last 2 years)

Ability to pass a medical and drug & alcohol screening

Ability to provide a Federal/National Police Clearance
