The Role:

We’re on the hunt for a motivated Utility Locator — either experienced or someone ready to be trained from the ground up. You’ll work on diverse sites including commercial builds, council works, infrastructure projects, and engineering investigations.

Day-to-Day Includes:

Using GPR, EMI, to locate underground assets

Reading and interpreting BYDA Plans and construction plans

Marking and reporting on services using our custom reporting program

Interacting with clients and ensuring job site safety

Contributing to a professional standard that sets us apart

What You Need:

Trainee Role:

A can-do attitude, good communication, and a keen eye for detail

White Card

current driver’s licence

Willingness to learn, problem-solve, and work outdoors

Experienced Role:

Minimum 1–3 years in utility locating or GPR scanning

Familiar with Before You Dig Australia, GPR/EMI equipment (Radiodetection, ImpulseRadar, or similar)

Ability to work independently, write field reports, and liaise with clients professionally

Added bonus if you’re CertLoc Certified
