Starting salary $73,361.60 p.a. + Allowances + 6 Weeks Leave + Super Matching Scheme.

We have an exciting opportunity for two experienced people to fill Town Maintenance Officer roles within our Infrastructure team in Paraburdoo.

Reporting to the Town Maintenance Coordinator, TMOs are responsible for performing general activities relating to the maintenance and upgrade of parks, gardens, public spaces and roads while ensuring safe operations and minor maintenance of plant and equipment. The position also assists with waste services when required.

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to work outdoors in Pilbara conditions along with previous experience in lawn and/or garden maintenance and be able to demonstrate a high level of honesty and integrity. MR or HR licence and plant operator certificates will be highly regarded, as would horticultural experience.

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop their skills through practical experience and training, for example, you will be put through a Certificate II in Horticulture and Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Controller courses.

Some travel to other Shire towns may be required from time to time. All terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2022.
