This is a great opportunity for a passionate, driven, talented and innovative individual to lead the establishment of the new peak body for the Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) sector in Queensland.
Situated within QCOSS, the role will be responsible for driving a co-designed, inclusive process to establish the peak’s structure and governance, and to oversee its transition to an independent entity that will advocate for the DFV sector across Queensland.

About you:

Relevant qualifications in Law, Corporate Governance or other relevant tertiary qualifications with high-level relevant demonstrated experience to fulfil the responsibilities of the position including:
Demonstrated high-level project management skills with the ability to coordinate competing priorities and stakeholders needs, coupled with excellent interpersonal, engagement, consultation, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated high-level understanding of corporate governance and risk management to lead the co-design and establishment of the new DFV peak.
Demonstrated skill and expertise to contribute to policy work with intersects with the DFV sector.
Demonstrated skill and expertise to prepare a range of written documents including workplans, reports, submissions, and briefings with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A strong understanding and commitment to the work of QCOSS and our commitment to social justice.

What you will get:
We will offer you a flexible, exciting, rewarding full-time (38 hrs/week) 12-month fixed term position in a great place to work.
All this plus a competitive remuneration package between $110,656 - $115,536 per annum dependent on relevant qualifications and experience to fulfil the requirements of the position.
Superannuation of 12.5% and salary packaging benefits apply in addition to flexible work arrangements including working from home, flex time and time off in lieu provisions.
