Key Responsibilities:
Lead kitchen operations with creativity, discipline and care
Liaise collaboratively with our senior leadership team with an emphasis on strategy and growth
Guide and support Head Chefs across multiple venues within the group
Drive seasonal menu development across sites, with a strong produce-first ethos
Be a key stakeholder in the planning and execution of new venue openings
Oversee kitchen culture, training, and development programs across sites
Champion sustainable practices in sourcing, waste reduction and team wellbeing
Maintain kitchen financials, rosters, supplier relationships, and Award compliance
Why Join Us?
Lead a high-performing team in some of Melbourne’s most respected venues
Oversee and shape the culinary identity of multiple distinct hospitality spaces
Be part of an organisation genuinely committed to sustainability and community impact
Attractive salary package and growth pathways within the business
In-house development opportunities with a supportive senior leadership team
Direct influence on new venue openings and long-term food strategy
What We’re Looking For:
Proven success as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a quality-driven environment
Ability to collaborate with, and mentor, Venue Managers and front-of-house teams
Strong leadership and people development skills – we care deeply about our teams
Experience overseeing multi-site operations or readiness to step up into that space
A hands-on operator who thrives in the kitchen and leads by example
Expertise in managing large teams, high-volume service, and labour forecasting
Passion for sustainability and a deep respect for Australian produce
Technical skills across charcuterie, fermentation, whole-animal butchery and fire cooking
Strong knowledge of the Restaurant Industry Award 2020, or willingness to learn.
