We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Estimator to join the dynamic team at Fairview Solutions, based in Newcastle, NSW. You will play a crucial part in the estimating and tender preparation process, to deliver high-quality projects.

Key responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, Labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, clients and sub-contractors to discuss and formulate estimates

Provide accurate and timely information to support the submission of competitive tenders

Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and procedures

Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other project documents

What we're looking for

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Proficiency in using construction estimating software and MS Office ,word,excel and willing to learn Fairviews Ascora PM systems.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

A positive attitude and desire to be a valued member of the team
