Qualifications and Experience:
- A formal qualification in welding or metal fabrication is typically required.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Blueprint and Specification Analysis – Studying technical drawings to determine job requirements.
2. Material Preparation – Selecting, cleaning, and preparing metal stock for fabrication.
3. Metal Cutting – Cutting marked-out metal sections using hand tools, flame-cutting torches, and metal-cutting machines.
4. Shaping and Forming – Bending and shaping metal sections using hand tools, machine tools, heating, and hammering.
5. Component Alignment – Using measuring instruments and hand tools to align parts before joining.
6. Joining Techniques – Welding, bolting, and riveting metal sections with precision.
7. Weld Inspection – Examining welds for bead width, penetration, and accuracy.
8. Finishing and Polishing – Cleaning, polishing, filing, and applying acid baths to finished products.
9. Surface Smoothing – Filing, chiseling, and grinding welds to ensure a refined finish.
