As the Operations Manager at Yarra Valley Laundry, you will play a pivotal role in driving the efficient and effective management of our family owned commercial laundry facility located in Yarra Glen. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience and contributing to the ongoing growth and success of our business.

What you'll be doing

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations within the commercial laundry and linen service, including dispatch, customer liaison, overseeing the Team Leaders coordination of staff, and equipment maintenance. This role ensures efficient workflow, workplace safety, and operational effectiveness while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

What we're looking for

Proven experience in operations management, preferably in commercial laundry, FMCG or hospitality industries.

Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.

Physically fit to perform the physical requirements of this role.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Ability to manage customer relationships and service expectations professionally.

Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment operations, maintenance and stock control procedures.

Understanding of workplace safety regulations and compliance standards.

Excellent computer skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of attention to detail and highly organised.

Strong work ethic, proactive and problem-solving nature.
