Coorong Apiaries has an aggregation of two properties located 5 kilometres northeast of Emmaville and 42 kms northwest of Glenn Innes NSW Hillview and Rossmoine, adjoining properties of more that 4000 acres comprising diverse and productive land systems interspersed with ranges and creek systems.
Hillview Aggregation is undergoing a transformative shift to a diversified operation that includes carbon farming, regenerative land management, and rangeland goat harvesting as well as raising cattle.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Coorong Apiaries is seeking an experienced Farm Worker to join their hardworking team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible to the Station Manager for the day-to-day care, movement and health management of our cattle and goats.Key Skills and Experience Required:
Livestock Management: Experience in mustering, feeding, watering, and monitoring the health and welfare of livestock, including cattle, and rangeland goats.
Infrastructure Maintenance: Ability to maintain and repair farm infrastructure such as sheds, pens, fences, water supply, and irrigation systems
Machinery Operation: Machinery Operation: Proficiency in operating farm machinery for tasks like maintaining pastures and managing water systems
Environmental Stewardship: Understanding of land management practices that support carbon farming initiatives, including activities that promote the regeneration of native vegetation.
Adaptability: Willingness to engage in various farming activities across different production areas
· Work in all weather conditions and be available for seasonal demands.
Skills & Experience Required
• Minimum two years’ experience in cattle handling and station work; OR
• AQF Certificate, plus one year’s on-farm experience.
• Ability to ride and handle horses safely.
• Experience operating motorbikes and handling livestock in extensive grazing systems.
• Knowledge of cattle and goat health, nutrition, and husbandry.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in remote locations.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of farm equipment is an advantage.
