We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Program Governance and Secretariat Officer to play a vital role in supporting program delivery and associated governance frameworks within a complex and dynamic organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of critical infrastructure by ensuring robust governance processes and providing high-quality secretariat support to senior leadership forums.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the coordination and management of secretariat functions and governance activities across a portfolio of capital works programs. This includes preparing high-quality papers, minutes, reports, and ensuring compliance with governance processes for various executive and program forums.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating governance meetings such as Investment Review Committees and Program Management Groups.
- Ensuring timely distribution of meeting materials and accurate recording of outcomes.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support transparent governance and reporting practices.
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of governance frameworks and processes.
- Contributing to internal communications and promoting best practices in program governance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration, governance, or program management (or a related field).
- At least 3 years’ experience in program governance, secretariat support, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of governance practices, controls, and compliance.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with project management information systems.
