Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Play a key role in the leadership of Safe at Home by contributing and supporting policy and procedural improvements.
- Support the performance of staff by providing supervision and guidance, and by facilitating professional development and training.
- Prioritise and allocate tasks associated with managing workflow on a daily basis and assist staff to maintain an appropriate workload.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders and represent Safe at Home at a variety of forums and committees as required.
- Provide strategic and policy advice to the Director Safe at Home as required.
- Lead the development and implementation of projects and policies as required.
- Collate and maintain delivery and outcome data for the purposes of statistical reporting and evaluation.
- Research and analyse policy issues and provide solutions, proposals and recommendations for Safe at Home and family violence matters.
- Prepare high-level submissions, ministerial briefings, correspondence, media responses and reports as required.
- Perform such other professional work as may from time to time be directed by the Director Safe at Home.
Desirable Requirements
Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline.
