About the role

Retz Civil PTY LTD, a leading civil company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets

Coordinate and manage all aspects of project execution, including resource allocation, procurement, and subcontractor management

Effectively communicate with clients, project team members, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes

Identify and mitigate potential risks, implementing appropriate risk management strategies

Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates and reports

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards

Collaborate with the broader construction team to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

What we're looking for

Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, preferably in the civil engineering or infrastructure sectors

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate multiple stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding creative solutions

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members

Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant industry regulations and safety standards

Proficiency in project management software and tools

Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
