Key responsibilities
- Coordinate personal injury claims (PIPA), and Right to Information (RTI) requests for the region, and provide advice on the application of relevant policies, standards and procedures, including the Controlled Self Assessments (CSAs) across the region.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of official information and correspondence in accordance with corporate correspondence protocols, Information Standards and document and records management procedures.
- Liaises and consult with the TMR Information Management Unit to manage historical records, contribute to the Information Management Program and forum discussions, and take the lead on other Information Management activities, including a consistent approach in the archive/destruction & retention of T MR records.
- Provide and promote information sessions/specific training for individuals and teams on their recordkeeping roles and responsibilities.
- Collate, monitor and report on the performance and status of information management activities.
- Assist in managing the continuous improvement of operational systems at local level across the region to support effective delivery of business outcomes.
- Supervise, coordinate, and assist in the performance and development of administrative staff to meet service delivery standards and business needs.
- Other duties as determined by the Advisor (Administration).
Mandatory qualifications and conditions
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
Requirements of the role
- Demonstrated experience in applying knowledge of information/records management processes, use of Electronic Document and Records Management System (eDRMS) and guiding others effectively.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance obligations, standards, legislation, and policies including Public Records Act 2023, Right to Information Act 2009, and the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002 (QId).
- Builds and sustains relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer- focused outcomes.
- Inspires others by driving clarity, engagement and a sense of purpose.
- Experience in collaborating and engaging business areas to embrace change.
- Experience in ensuring successful business outcomes through effective resource utilisation, performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
