About the role

Evergreen Early Learning are seeking a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to join our team at our Greenwood location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of educators to provide high-quality early childhood education and care for the babies in our care.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement engaging educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Establish a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of the children

Supervise and mentor a team of educators, providing guidance, support and feedback to ensure best practice

Maintain strong relationships with families, fostering open communication and involving them in the children's learning

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures

Participate in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Demonstrated experience as a Room Leader or Senior Educator, with a strong understanding of childcare best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible care and learning experiences for children

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure

Knowledge of relevant regulations and a commitment to upholding high standards of safety and compliance
