New Era 4 Disability, Five Dock, NSW

Due to expansion in our organisation we are seeking to employ experienced Support Workers at our brand new Five Dock SIL home. Positions are permanent part time and casual. In this role you will be working with another team member providing support for 4 young adults (2 male & 2 female) in their home and out in the community.

We are looking for support workers with energy, maturity, who have good values, a sense of humour and can deliver true person centred supports.

Opportunity exists for further skills development, learning and progression in the sector.

Key Qualities and Skills required for these roles include;

Current First Aid Certificate and valid CPR

Valid NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)

Permanent Resident/Citizen of Australia

Experience working with people with a disability or lived experience.

Minimum Cert III Disability or similar qualifications desirable.

Confident in using technology, excellent written & oral English.

Must have a full Australian driver's license

Good communicator

Ability to work in a team environment

Flexibility to take on extra shifts when offered

Outgoing personality with the ability to think outside the box

Solid understanding of NDIS plans and the importance of supporting participants towards their goals

Salary;

Attractive above award hourly rates and conditions in accordance with your skills and experience. Ability to work towards pay increases and bonuses. As a charity we also offer salary packaging benefits.

Employment type;

Reliable, regular shifts, no rotating rosters for permanent positions with option of extra shifts as they become available.

Plenty of casual work available due to upcoming staff leave which could turn into permanent regular employment.
