About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our growing United Legal team in our Fyshwick, ACT office. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our legal professionals and ensuring the smooth running of client matters.

What you'll be doing

Providing administrative and paralegal support to legal teams, including document preparation, research, and file management

Assisting with the drafting of legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and correspondence

Conducting legal research and analysis to support the preparation of legal advice and strategies

Organising and maintaining electronic and physical client files in an efficient and organised manner

Coordinating with external parties such as courts, clients, and other law firms as required

Providing general office support and contributing to the overall efficiency of the team

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in law, such as a Diploma of Paralegal Studies or similar

At least 2 years of experience working as a Paralegal in a commercial and litigation environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

Proficient in the use of legal research tools and software, such as document management systems

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work

A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
