Are you a tech-savvy project officer with AV experience, or an experienced AV Technician with a knack for stakeholder engagement, and experience with project work and preparation of documentation?

We’re recruiting on behalf of our QLD State Government for a motivated and skilled AV Project Officer to join their Technology Renewal team.

In this role, you’ll support the rollout and quality assurance of modern AV systems across the State. This includes testing new installations, providing end-user training, and reviewing supplier proposals. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring the technology is functional, reliable, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting quality assurance of newly installed AV systems.
• Performing minor AV/IT installations and troubleshooting.
• Delivering training to relevant stakeholders.
• Reviewing supplier documentation and technical proposals.
• Providing on-site support during AV system commissioning.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

About You
You’re confident working both independently and collaboratively, able to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You bring technical expertise in AV and IT systems—experience with technologies like Cisco VC, AMX, and Biamp will be highly regarded.
