We are currently seeking a Storeperson/ Yardhand with excellent customer service to join our clients rapidly growing business in Canningvale on a full-time basis.

As a Storeperson Yardhand for this busy concrete supply, service and repair business, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients warehouse and yard. Your main responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse and yard. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing and maintaining the warehouse and yard, and assisting with loading and unloading of trucks.

Any experience in Building and Construction trades will be advantageous but a good attitude and willingness to learn is highly sought after also.

The Job's Responsibilities...

• - Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse and yard
• - Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks
• - Organize and maintain the warehouse and yard to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
• - Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and vehicles
• - Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required
• - Ensure all materials are stored in the correct locations and are easily accessible
• - Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and yard at all times
• - Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
• - Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
• - Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

• - Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• - Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory management systems
