The Company
Our client is a rapidly growing renewable energy developer and asset owner, backed by institutional capital and focused on delivering large-scale clean energy projects across Australia. With an experienced leadership team and a strong pipeline of wind, solar, and battery assets, the business is committed to accelerating the transition to a low-carbon future.

This will be an ideal role for an experienced big-4 auditor or a current Financial Accountant with audit experience to build on your current experience and gain FP&A exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to an EY audit and advisory trained Head of Finance, this role will be exposed to,

Own monthend close processes including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis across multiple project entities

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and deliver key insights to the CFO

Consolidate group financials and assist in preparing statutory accounts and year-end audit packs

Partner with operational teams to track project costs, budgets, and forecasts for renewable energy assets

Manage BAS, payroll tax, and other tax obligations, ensuring full compliance with reporting standards

Support the Head of Finance in building dashboards, performance reports, and decision support models using Excel and Power BI

Play a key role in financial systems improvements, process automation, and reporting enhancements across the business

The Candidate

CA/CPA qualified with 4-5+ years’ experience

Confident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders and deadlines

Prior energy/renewables experience a bonus — not a must
