‘Little Sprouts Early Learning Centres' Requires -

An exciting opportunity exists to fill a position asap on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We require an Operations Manager for our two Centre's, just a short distance from each other.

Little Sprouts Early Learning Centres are established Childcare Centre's with a strong community presence. Our original boutique 75-place Centre is about 1km from our 140-place sister Centre. Our Centre's are purpose built, privately owned, outstandingly resourced and located in the beautiful Parklakes Estate, Bli Bli.

We offer a large range of high-quality programs for our children such as Ginger sport, yoga/stretching and mindfulness, Bush kindy and many other cultural, opportunities for music, dance and education through our yearly Events Calendar. We are passionate about sustainability and recycling and explore opportunities and practices to uphold these values. We respect the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which our Centre's stand and share this in our teachings with the children. We are also passionate about living and making healthy lifestyle choices and role model this for the children in our care.

Experience and Responsibilities -

Current proven leadership experience and team management abilities in a long day care centre.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain a professional manner in the workplace.

Assessment and rating experience, support and guide through the process.

Up to date knowledge of the Law, Regulations and NQS, understand and comply with all relevant legislation.

Writing QIP, as required.

Applying for funding for ISS.

Kindy Funding, knowledge of guidelines and procedures.

Proda CCS and ACCS knowledge along with strong computer skills and knowledge of management systems.

Mentoring role to Directors of 'Little Sprouts' and to work collaboratively to support the teams.

Promote occupancy by encouraging initiatives.

Be able to step into the Centre Director role when absent, as required.

HR contracts, recruitment and assist in induction.

Payroll timesheets.

Budgeting.

Drive business outcomes, high performance and accountability for results within the two Centres.

Report to Licensees.

Qualifications -

Hold a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a minimum of a diploma/advanced diploma of children's services.

Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.

Current working with children check and child protection certificate.

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
