Reporting to the Senior Refund Point Operator, the position will provide excellent customer service to members of the public and is responsible for the collection, sorting and counting of eligible beverage containers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide a high level of customer service and experience

• Sort and count eligible containers into material types safely, accurately and efficiently

• Accurate data collection, including customer information, material type and volumes

• Provide general advice to the community on recycling and resource recovery services offered by the City of Fremantle

• Maintain a safe and tidy workspace

The City of Fremantle seeks a Refund Point Operator to join a friendly team in a fast paced and energetic environment. Applicants require a can-do attitude and willingness to learn. All training is provided, and it is desirable applicants have a minimum C class drivers licence and forklift ticket, although not essential. All applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical.
