About the Role

As a Service Designer, you’ll support service design squads to deliver consistent, user-centred outcomes. You'll co-create service design artefacts, facilitate collaborative design activities, and help embed experience-driven thinking across the Scheme Reform Program. This role involves both strategic insight and hands-on delivery across a complex, multi-touchpoint environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-create and maintain service design artefacts such as journey maps and service blueprints
• Synthesise insights to build shared understanding across teams
• Facilitate workshops and design activities with service users and stakeholders
• Support stakeholder engagement, change impact analysis, and user-centred improvements
• Provide administrative and coordination support to design leads
• Advocate for the voice of participants and staff in all service design initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams on complex projects
• Proficiency with design and collaboration tools (e.g. Figma, Miro, Creately, MS Office)
• Demonstrated skills in service design, artefact development, and stakeholder engagement
• Strong communication, synthesis, and design thinking capabilities
• Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and problem-solving in evolving environments
• Experience assessing customer impact and supporting human-centred solutions

Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
