people2people are currently hiring an Instructional Designer for a State Government Agency. This opportunity is offering an immediate start until the 30th of June 2025. This role is located in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs, and offers hybrid work arrangements (3 days in office, 2 days working from home).

The Role:

• Design and develop engaging, learner-focused materials across in-person workshops, simulated environments, workplace learning, and digital platforms
• Apply modern, evidence-based learning and assessment methodologies to ensure content is interactive
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders
• Support program plans and project timelines to ensure high-quality deliverables are delivered on time and within budget

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in instructional design, particularly in complex or high-stakes environments such as healthcare or emergency services.
• A proven ability to develop learning content that meets regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, digital learning tools, and instructional design best practices.
• Experience within State Government is highly regarded
