What you’ll be doing:

We’re offering a 12-month maternity leave contract for a passionate and detail-oriented Safety Training and Promotions Advisor to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the development of training packages and the delivery of engaging promotional materials that enhance our safety culture.

You’ll be responsible for updating the LMS, reviewing and refining course content, and driving strong course completion rates. You’ll also play a key role in drafting internal communications such as online posts and quarterly or bimonthly newsletters. This includes calling for content, curating it, and managing the approvals process to ensure timely and accurate publication.

Further responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders to develop training packages for delivery via the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Continuous improvement of processes that support Safety Training activities.
  • Ensure successful deployment of training packages via the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to revise and update training courses.
  • Ensure the LMS is configured to correctly target and deliver training as per training matrices and training needs
  • Continuous improvement of processes that support promotional activities
  • Assist in the development and distribution of Safety promotional material
  • Assist in delivering the Safety Communications Strategy
  • Update and maintain Safety Systems content on the intranet (VINE)
  • Monitor training course completion rates and follow up to ensure compliance levels are met
  • Assist with team inbox to ensure all stakeholders are provided with information in a timely manner.

Who we’re looking for:

  • A Learning systems and content design background is highly desirable
  • Content development experience and user experience design desirable
  • Strong written communication skills (as you will publish internal promotional material)
  • Focus on continuous improvement. Must be able to question the status quo and constantly change and improve our training materials
  • Strong ability to manage stakeholders and expectations
  • Very competent with computer systems
  • Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Pro, Articulate 360 (Rise and/or Storyline) are desirable
