We’re a family-run turf farm in Boyland looking for a capable, experienced farm hand to join our small crew.

This is a hands-on role that involves operating tractors and heavy machinery, helping grow and harvest turf, and maintaining farm equipment. If you’ve worked in agriculture before and you’re confident behind the wheel of a tractor (or willing to learn) —you’ll fit right in.

About the Role

Full-time, Monday to Friday (some longer days in peak season – up to 50 hrs/week)

Duties include turf maintenance, tractor/machine operation, harvesting, and irrigation

Outdoor work in all weather

Pay based on your experience and skills

You’ll Need To:

Have experience working in agriculture in Australia

Be confident operating tractors and farm machinery (preferred)

Be physically fit and capable of manual work

Have a current driver’s licence (forklift ticket is a bonus)

Be reliable, able to follow direction, and work well in a small team

Your Day Might Involve:

Running the Firefly harvester and loading turf

Mowing, fertilising, and spraying

Checking irrigation and paddock conditions

Spotting and reporting issues early

Cleaning and maintaining machinery

Short-term travellers
