Leading Hand/ Experienced Farm Hand- Mixed Farming/ Livestock (Maranoa Region, Qld)

The Role:

The Leading Hand will be required to work independently or as part of a team, overseeing all day-to-day activities related to cattle production in a breeding, backgrounding and finishing operation. Responsibilities include stock handling in yards and mustering on motorbikes and helicopters, when necessary operating machinery and being involved in general farm maintenance and property improvement works. Weekend work may be required at times, a minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in cattle production is necessary. This role also has opportunities to be involved in seasonal broadacre farming activities.
