Our client is a leader in wealth management, providing a range of products and services to individuals and institutions, they are currently looking to meet with experienced an experienced Operational Risk Associate.

Partnering yourself with a positive brand is always very important, our client prides themselves on their quality practices, experienced team, market ranking and strategic focus.

Our client will be initiating a strong focus on operational change and development, they are specifically looking at reviewing their practices and procedures and developing / implementing new strategies. Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, we are looking for an experienced risk professional with strong exposure across the following:

  • Promote and help embed a strong culture of awareness and attention to operational risk and resilience throughout the business in-line with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Day to day management of operational risk activities such as risk event reporting and incident resolution, monitoring of key risk indicators, Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA), and outsourcing/third party risk assessments across the business,
  • Partnering with the business to help ensure the effective design and implementation of controls.
  • Develop and manage the controls assurance testing framework.
  • Guide and monitor progress of action plans to improve the risk and control environment arising from risk events, risk assessments, audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Assist in the support of any investigations or reviews and preparation of reports.
  • Contribute to, and potentially manage, other risk and compliance requirements, as required. Complete all allocated training courses and/or programs to ensure compliance with internal company policy, and any external regulatory requirements.

This unique opportunity will suit candidates with 2 to 4 years’ experience in risk management, our client is fully committed to building, mentoring and adding on to the established skills of the successful candidate. Experience in wealth management is preferred, but if you are currently working in a risk function within banking or insurance, are career focused, are used to dealing with various stake holders and are willing to learn and develop whilst undertaking all the daily functions then please apply or call for further details.
