About the company/role:

• Leading Clinical Research Organization for therapeutic, vaccine and diagnostic development.
• They develop and conduct pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic assays across a variety of areas to support preclinical studies and clinical trials.
• The purpose of this role is to perform immunology assays to comply with relevant standards, regulatory guidelines and SOP requirements.

Duties

• Performing a range of immunology assays for research, preclinical and clinical study testing
• Handling of clinical samples
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines
• General laboratory housekeeping
• Ordering and maintaining supplies
• Cleaning, maintenance and calibration of lab equipment

About you:

• Tertiary qualification of honours or higher in Biological Sciences or a related discipline
• 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in performing immunological assays – in particular ELISA
• Experience with handling clinical samples and working in a quality-controlled environment (such as ISO 17025, GLP or similar)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and be a self-starter
