We are seeking a reliable Despatch Clerk to support our warehouse operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare and process despatch documentation, including invoices and delivery notes

Sort picking slips from customer service into allocated runs

Calculate and charge freight for applicable orders

Label local same day delivery parcels every morning

Declare all DGs and print DG declarations as required

Filing and some picking of orders

Data entry for run sheets etc

Coordinate and schedule the shipment of goods to customers and branches

Track and monitor deliveries to ensure timely and efficient distribution.

Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve issues promptly.

Maintain accurate records of all outgoing goods and documentation.

Perform inventory checks and update records as needed.

Adhere to health and safety standards within the warehouse environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience as a despatch clerk or in a similar warehouse/logistics role.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in data entry and computer applications (e.g., MS Office, inventory management systems).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).

Need to have Full working rights
