Senior Security Engineer

Who you'll be working with:
Its working with one of the most sought after fin-tech companies globally with their Sydney office being their main technology hub for the APAC region. Modern city centre offices providing fully catered breakfast & lunch, free gym memberships on offer with a host of other benefits.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office, although the first few months may require you in office full time to get up to speed with their environment. Ideally, you will have previously worked within financial organisations.

What you'll be doing:
You will be a key member of their global security team to protect against threats & vulnerabilities of their infrastructure.
General day to day tasks will include:

• Monitoring and management of security operations
• Identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies
• Security incident response - coordinating efforts across global teams
• Automate Security Tasks
• Incident Response

Your Skills
You should be confident delivering on the following:

• Python & Powershell - Senior Level
• Automation
• Strong security incidence response background
• Systems engineering, Linux, Networking, Devops
• Problem solving / Troubleshooting
• Monitoring, incident response, and risk management
