Reporting to the Cyber Operations Lead, this hands-on senior role plays a critical part in securing the company’s cloud environments. The role collaborates closely with infrastructure, development, and risk teams to drive enterprise cloud security.

They have offices in Sydney and work in a hybrid model

Duties/Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cyber security controls for enterprise systems
• Manage technologies including firewalls, DLP, IAM, and SIEM
• Review and build secure cloud architectures using infrastructure as code
• Conduct risk assessments and manage security risks across cloud platforms
• Respond to incidents and lead investigations and mitigations

Skills and experience

• Minimum 10 years in cloud and 5+ years in cloud security roles
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, Palo Alto or Zscaler preferred
• Strong cloud security experience in regulated industries
• Deep knowledge of cloud architectures, DevSecOps and IaC practices
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Tertiary qualification in IT or a related discipline
