About the role

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Trade Assistant / Yard Hand to join the team at Pneumatic Engineering in Welshpool, WA. This hands-on role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse and yard, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, storing, and dispatching a wide range of materials, parts, and equipment

Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload deliveries

Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock takes

Assisting with the organisation and cleanliness of the warehouse and yard

Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

Supporting the wider operations team as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar warehousing or logistics role

Forklift license and experience operating material handling equipment

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
