About the role:
This hands-on role is perfect for an experienced Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step in their career. Someone who wants to better utilise their culinary skills and develop managerial capabilities.

The key responsibility of this role is managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, with a focus on developing the team, staff training, achieving targeted food and wage costs while maintaining a high standard of food quality, hygiene & presentation.

You will be required to work a flexible and rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

About you:
This is the perfect role for someone who will relish the opportunity to build their own team within a respectful work environment, someone who maintains high standards and is driven by the success of themselves and others.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, be professional, and have great organisational and communication skills, willing to coach and mentor the team and work alongside the Head chef to deliver an amazing experience.

You will have exemplary people management skills, clear and concise communication and a sound understanding of OHS and WHS regulations. You will offer quality and consistency throughout every service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
