WorkTrybe are delighted to be partnering with our long-term client who are
leaders in the security sector and known for exceptional client delivery and satisfaction, to look for an experienced People and Culture Advisor to join their team. The role on offer involves supporting a team to deliver strategic and operational services covering employee relations, onboarding, recruitment, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance.
This is a great opportunity for someone well versed in Employee and Industrial Relations, with high case management experience around disciplinary matters, ideally understanding the security sector (or a similar) award.

Your day to day responsibilities:
Employee Relations - Advise on HR matters, including performance, grievances, discipline, and conflict resolution. Handle complex issues, ensuring fairness and compliance
Industrial Relations - Work to maintain a harmonious and legally compliant working environment, balancing the interests of both the workforce and the employer
HR Policy & Compliance - Ensure HR policies and procedures are current, compliant with applicable labor laws and regulations in the industry, and aligned with best practices
Recruitment & Onboarding - Support recruitment by hiring top talent for key roles. Collaborate with hiring managers on JD's, interviews, and candidate selection. Ensure smooth & engaging onboarding process for new hires
Performance Management & Development - Support with appraisals, feedback, goal setting and addressing performance issues. Assist in identifying and implementing training programs
Data Management & Reporting - Maintain HR records and systems and provide regular reports on HR metrics. Analyse HR data to identify trends and offer insights for improving practices
Payroll & Workforce Management - Answer queries on pay in relation to Awards interpretation, compliance and regulations
A successful candidate will confidently demonstrate:
- 4+ years experience with strong expertise in employee relations, recruitment, performance management and compliance, preferably in the Security Services or similar industry. Candidates from transport, logistics or large retail / hospitality environments may have highly transferrable skillsets
- Familiarity with the HR challenges and regulations in dynamic, transformative environments and enjoy being a true problem solver
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, modern awards, and compliance standards and strong proficiency in conflict resolution and mediation
