This is a rare chance to develop your skills in a highly unique and rewarding clinical setting, with exposure to Rural/Remote Paediatrics, Indigenous Child Health, and a broad spectrum of general and developmental paediatrics.
30 bed Paediatric Ward, 8 bed Neonatal Nursery (>30-32/40, >1000-1500g)
Position Streams
We are recruiting to two streams:
- General Paediatric Registrar
Rotational position across: - Paediatric and neonatal inpatient services
- General and subspecialty outpatient clinics
- Community/Outreach Paediatric Registrar
Foused Focon:
- Remote outreach clinics across Central Australia
- Developmental and behavioural paediatrics
- Premature infant follow-up and clinics
- Working within multidisciplinary teams
Training and Accreditation
- Accredited for Advanced Training in General Paediatrics – including Community/Developmental and General Paediatrics (Rural with Perinatal focus)
- Accredited for Community Child Health (non-core) training
- Supportive environment for Basic Trainees through secondment or non-accredited positions.
