Hillarys Marina Lifting Services is situated in the northern suburbs of Perth and is owned and run by the Hillarys Yacht Club. With the Indian Ocean on our doorstep, our Marina footprint consists of 5 Jetties with 272 pens.

The Hillarys Marina Lifting Service (HMLS) provides a wide scope of works to our Members and our local boating community. We provide services to Members to have their boats cleaned, serviced and maintained in a professional manner in a lifting yard with excellent facilities, staff and access to specialised contracted services.

The Role

HMLS is seeking a reliable Yard Maintenance Worker who will report to the HMLS Manager to provide “hands on” experience to the HMLS day to day operations, and is ideally suited to someone with a fabrication background.

This is a casual role and hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7.30am - 3.30pm, although these hours are negotiable for the right candidate.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Boatyard maintenance, including metal fabrication work

Assisting in yard duties when required

Qualifications & Experience

Appropriate qualifications and previous relevant experience

Drivers License or own transport preferred

Forklift ticket preferred but not essential

Experience working in a yard / outdoor business operation preferred

Ability to show initiative and work autonomously but also as part of a small, integrated and dynamic team

A National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical may be required.
