Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier in the industrial battery industry. They are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team for upcoming projects.
About the Role:
Casual position with the opportunity for ongoing work on projects across Melbourne, supporting the lead engineer with installations and services across multiple warehouses.
Duties for the position can range based on the customer’s/project needs, please see below:
Electronics – Includes cabling, installing low-voltage monitors on chargers and batteries, and inputting simple instructions into a control PC.
Mechanical - Oil changes, greasing bearings, fault finding, basic faults under guidance, etc.
Installations - Operating impact and hammer drills, as well as assembly of racking systems.
Upcoming projects in May and June:
Scheduled machine repair
Battery room building, including installation of a battery management system
Unloading, assembly and installation of a battery changer
Regularly scheduled system services
To be considered for the position:
Must have a driver’s license and reliable transport
Current LF forklift license
Comfortable operating a scissor lift
Must be punctual with strong written and verbal communication skills
Clear National Police Check
Have a background in Fabrication, Mechanics, Maintenance or Handyman
Flexible availability
