About the role

ProEarth Australia is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our Perth-based team on a full-time basis. As a Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects by operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment with skill and precision.

What you'll be doing

Operate a variety of heavy construction equipment such as pozitracks, excavators, graders, dumpers, tippers, watercarts and front end loaders.

Maintain and perform routine checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, your colleagues, and the public

Liaise with supervisors and site team to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines

Provide support and guidance to less experienced operators as required

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our plant operations through feedback and suggestions

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a plant operator in the construction industry

Proven competency in operating a wide range of heavy construction equipment

Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and procedures

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the project

Valid driver's licence and high-risk work licences/certifications (e.g. skid steer, Excavator, water cart, loader etc)
