About the role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a short-term contract (approx. two months). This role is best suited to someone who is experienced in end-to-end payroll in a standalone position, interpreting complex awards and EBA's. This role can either be part-time or full-time for the ideal candidate. The office is located in Bondi Junction.

The Responsibilities

• End to end payroll process interpreting awards and EBA's
• Employee onboarding and off-boarding including leave pay calculations
• Supporting employee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle updates.
• Payment of ad-hoc back pays and leave entitlement cash-ins
• Supporting with the current project of implementing a new payroll system

The successful applicant will have

• 3-5 years experience in a stand alone Payroll position
• Australian Payroll Exp Required
• Experience interpreting awards and EBA's
• Experience with H3 or Employment Hero is preferred but not essential
• Great communication and customer skills
