We are seeking qualified and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our team at the Dampier Supply Base. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a wide range of heavy-duty plant and equipment. From forklifts to reach stackers and Mafi trucks, you'll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. This is a residential position suited to those living in Karratha or Dampier, offering a 7-on / 7-off even-time day shift roster with 10-hour days. You'll enjoy the benefits of a permanent, full-time role in a supportive and safety-first team - all while working at a scenic and high-activity coastal site.

What Does a Day as a Toll HD Mechanic Look Like?

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of Heavy Duty plant, machinery and equipment including but not limited to Forklifts, Reach Stackers, Telehandlers and Mafi Trucks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure prompt and effective resolutions
• Conduct routine inspections and follow maintenance schedules to uphold equipment reliability
• Collaborate with other maintenance and operational teams to ensure smooth workflows
• Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components
• Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a secure working environment
• Ordering and replacing parts as needed
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Our Key Skills and Experience

• A relevant Australian or NZ recognised Trade qualification i.e Mechanical - Mobile Plant, Heavy Vehicle, Mobile Equipment
• Demonstrated experience working on a range of heavy duty mobile plant, machinery and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
• Current 'C' Class Australian Drivers Licence
• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
