Forklogic is a local family owned business since 2008 within the Material Handling and Access equipment industry, providing rental, service, sales, and support.

We specialize in all types of equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers, supplied by world-leading brands such as CAT, Heli, Toyota, Genie, Manitou and Skyjack to name a few.

We are looking for a hardworking, motivated, and reliable Yard Hand to join our team at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of the role, ensuring the yard is organised and safe at all times.

Full Time role working Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.

Daily responsibilities will include;

· Forklift Operations

· Post Hire Inspections

· Washing machinery and equipment.

· General Yard Duties as required.

· Driving the equipment to move or reposition it.

The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have:

· Forklift license and demonstrated FL experience.

· Previous experience with driving machinery is an advantage but not essential.

· EWP ticket advantageous, however willing to train the right applicant.

· Experience in a similar role.

· Well-developed communication skills.

· Assertiveness, tenacity with a demonstrable sense of urgency, determination, and resilience.

· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

· Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and be self-motivated.

· The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
