We love Caravans, Camping, and the great outdoors and we're on the hunt for a keen, dynamic Yard Person. This role is full time role.

Our Yard Person is responsible for the organization, maintenance, and general upkeep of our Caravan sales and storage yards. This role involves handling caravans and campers and ensuring the yard is clean and orderly. Our Yard person plays a crucial role in supporting the sales and service departments by ensuring the smooth operation of the yard.

Key Responsibilities

- Move and organise caravans within the yard as directed.

- Ensure caravans are parked in designated areas and are easily accessible.

- Assist with inventory checks and audits.

- Ensure proper labelling and documentation of caravans in the yard.

- Keep our caravans and the yard clean and free of debris.

- Perform general maintenance tasks such as sweeping, rubbish removal, and organising tools and equipment.

- Conduct regular inspections of the yard to ensure safety and cleanliness.

- Provide courteous and helpful service to customers visiting the yard

- Communicate effectively with the sales and service departments to meet their needs.

- Assist technicians with moving vehicles in and out of service bays.

- Help with the organization and staging of vehicles for service and sales.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service or Sales Supervisors.

- Have a great eye for detail

- Prepare caravans for handovers to new customers

The successful applicant should have the following skills and abilities:
- Ability to operate vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
- Basic knowledge of Caravans & Campers.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting to 20kg.

- Current Australian Driver’s License.
