Advisers Digest is looking for a talented individual (like you!) to join the team as our Junior Marketing Assistant. This role is a full-time, on-site position at our office in Southport, Gold Coast.
About Us
Advisers Digest was founded in 2019 by Peter Johnson and works towards providing accountants with high-quality training options to meet their yearly requirements.
Over the last four years, the business has experienced significant growth following the success of our marketing activities.
We are a small family-run business with a close-knit team operating from our own premises in Southport
Several senior team members work remotely but will communicate with you daily. This particular role will be located on-site in our Southport office.
About You
You are a diligent, motivated worker who wants to learn new skills
Enthusiasm to learn and grow in the digital marketing field, willingness to learn and expand their skills (especially in marketing-related skills)
A fluent English speaker
An undergraduate or recent graduate looking for additional experience - any discipline is welcome, as long as you have digital marketing experience.
Available to work full-time onsite in the role.
Experienced in digital marketing, particularly email campaign writing and email marketing software is a bonus
Passionate about digital marketing and can work to a brief.
Has a strong work ethic; we believe a strong work ethic is more important than current skills and previous work experience.
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
What You Bring
We are looking for a marketing/communications graduate to assist our marketing and management team with marketing-related tasks.
We're looking for someone who is/has:
Confident with their skill at content creation (image, writing, video) for social media and/or email, or is willing to learn
Strong work ethic; we believe a strong work ethic is more important than current skills and previous work experience.
Experience in writing email campaigns (bonus)
Able to work in the direction of others when required & can work independently and cooperatively with colleagues.
Enjoys taking on varied responsibilities across different functions
Proficient in G Suite (at least Gmail interface)
Outstanding communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills (fluent English speaker)
Effective time management with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service tendencies
Provide support to the marketing team on tasks as given.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Assisting the marketing team with marketing campaigns and social media
Able to manage role responsibilities, such as email campaigns, marketing-related admin tasks, campaign writing, campaign planning, etc...
Creating and implementing campaigns for webinars and events
Building marketing funnels using Active Campaign and assisting with social media management
Updating our websites (knowledge of WordPress is a bonus)
Be involved in client relations, including handling phone calls and related correspondence.
Assist with paid media campaigns (such as Facebook Ads)
Skills We're Looking For
Content Creation (images, videos, writing)
Canva (experience using this is preferable, but not required)
Digital marketing experience
WordPress experience
Experience with email marketing software is a Bonus (especially if it involves ActiveCampaign)
Experience with the Adobe Suite (especially Premiere Pro) is a BONUS
Experience with filming is a BONUS
