Role Details
We are currently seeking a Data and Information Architect to join the ICT and Information Management Directorate on a full-time ongoing basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Leading the design and development of data and information architecture while ensuring they align with the technology strategy of DCP.
Collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions.
Assessing current and target states of the architecture to align with strategic or tactical objectives.
Designing and implementing data models, data integration and data governance processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
Developing and managing data dictionaries, data taxonomies and data lineage to ensure data governance and compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in leading the design, implementation and maintenance of data and information architecture.
Knowledge of relevant ICT government and information architecture and security related standards, policies, principles and guidelines.
Experience in leading the performance and development of a team in delivering architecture services.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
Experience in contributing to the preparation of business cases for approval, funding and prioritisation of enterprise-wide transformation.
