You became a psychologist to make a genuine impact, and at Accord Health, you’ll be empowered to do exactly that. Known for confidently stepping into complexity, we help people break through barriers to find hope, clarity, and meaningful progress. You'll join a genuinely collaborative multidisciplinary team including psychology, occupational therapy, social work, and rehabilitation counselling, united by a shared passion for excellence and compassion.

You’ll primarily provide therapy for adults and adolescents across mental health, trauma-informed care, and disability (NDIS). While therapy is your core focus, you’ll also conduct assessments that guide treatment and clarify support needs.

You’ll also have opportunities to provide professional supervision, consulting, and professional development training, if aligned with your interests and experience.

This role is designed for clinicians who value both professional autonomy and strong team support. Whether you prefer working in our dedicated in-clinic therapy rooms, via telehealth, or occasionally in the community, you’ll be backed by systems and people that allow you to do your best work.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

As part of our team, you’ll help individuals and families move forward, breaking cycles of complexity and frustration with clear, compassionate psychological support.

You’ll be involved in:

Delivering psychological therapy sessions, with a caseload thoughtfully aligned to your strengths and interests

Providing clinical assessments that inform targeted therapeutic approaches and clarify complex support needs

Working with our allied health professionals to provide collaborative, multidisciplinary services, especially within our NDIS work

Contributing your professional insights in peer supervision and multidisciplinary meetings to enrich outcomes for customers

Extending your impact by offering professional supervision, debriefing, or PD training (optional based on your interests and skills)

Who We’re Looking For

You might be a seasoned psychologist seeking a practice environment that genuinely respects your expertise; or perhaps you're earlier in your career, bringing fresh insights, energy, and a drive to grow. We’re open to both.

What matters most is how you show up—for your customers, your work, and your team.

You’ll thrive with us if you:

Prioritise compassion, clarity, and clinical rigour

Want flexible working arrangements (can commit to 2–4 days per week equivalent, with options for full and partial days)

Are energised by collaborative care that breaks silos and integrates psychological insights with broader multidisciplinary perspectives

Value autonomy balanced with supportive team engagement

Appreciate clear, ethical, and evidence-informed practice

Why Join Accord Health?

We care deeply—about our customers, our team, and the quality of the work we deliver. Our culture is intentionally supportive, relational, and built to help clinicians thrive.

You’ll have:

Generous contractor rates ($145–$170 per hour, depending on skills and experience)

Complete flexibility to manage your schedule, caseload, and professional interests

Dedicated therapy rooms, fully-equipped telehealth options, and community-based service flexibility

Comprehensive admin and referral support—allowing you to focus on clinical practice

Opportunities to expand your impact through professional supervision, debriefing, or PD delivery

Future opportunities for leadership and growth within our expanding practice

Essential Requirements

AHPRA registration as a Psychologist (General or Clinical)

Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number

ABN, professional indemnity insurance, and public liability insurance

Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Own vehicle for any travel if required

Excellent professional communication and documentation skills

How to Apply

We believe that healing happens in relationship, and that great clinicians need the right environment to thrive.

If that sounds like your kind of practice, send us your resume and a short cover letter by email. We’d love to know what drives you, what kind of work lights you up, and what you’re looking for in your next role.
