ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a Registered Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist trained in EMDR to join our close-knit and compassionate team as an Independent Contractor. This position is ideal for someone passionate about trauma-informed care and eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. The role involves providing psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapy for clients with a variety of mental health presentations, with a strong emphasis on trauma recovery.

We provide attractive contractor rates, and the opportunity to build a caseload quickly in a busy, well-regarded practice.

Essential Criteria:

Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist

EMDR training and experience delivering EMDR therapy

Registered business structure (ABN & ACN) and business bank account

Eligibility to obtain a Medicare provider number for our location

Current Professional Indemnity Insurance

Ability to provide your own tools/resources as required for independent contracting

Competence in delivering CBT and other evidence-based therapies

Capacity to offer Telehealth services where appropriate

Compassionate, professional, and committed to ethical, client-focused care

Strong commitment to ongoing professional development

Highly Desirable:

Experience working with trauma, PTSD, and anxiety disorders

Availability to work at least 2 days per week (with flexibility)
